This policy explains what information Anthony Nehra Fitness (“we”, “us”) collects when you use nycfit.com, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what choices you have. We’ve tried to write it in plain English.
What we collect
Information you give us. If you apply for coaching, book a call, join our email list or send us a message, we collect what you type into the form:
- Your name and email address.
- Your goals, and anything else you write in a message or free-text field.
- Details you enter when you schedule a call through our booking tool, such as your preferred time and time zone.
The application form doesn’t ask for health information, and we ask you not to put medical details in it. If you become a client, we’ll tell you what else we need before we ask for it.
Information collected automatically. When you visit the site, we and our service providers collect your IP address, browser type, device type, the pages you view, how long you stay, where you came from, and how you click, scroll and move around the page. Some of this is collected with cookies and similar tools (see below). Our forms also record your IP address and browser user agent to help block spam.
Comments and accounts. Comments on the site are turned off, and visitors don’t create accounts.
How we use it
- To read your application and reply to you.
- To schedule and run coaching calls.
- To send you emails you signed up for, such as the free training and coaching updates. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link.
- To understand how people use the site and to improve it.
- To measure and run our advertising, including showing ads to people who visited the site.
- To keep the site secure and prevent spam and abuse.
- To meet legal and accounting obligations.
We don’t sell your name, email address or application for money.
Cookies, analytics and advertising tools
We use these tools on nycfit.com:
- Google Analytics shows us which pages people visit and how they find us. Opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
- Microsoft Clarity shows us how visitors interact with pages, including heatmaps and session recordings. See Microsoft privacy statement.
- Meta Pixel tells Meta (Facebook and Instagram) which pages you visited so we can measure our ads and show ads to people who visited the site. Manage this in your Meta ad preferences.
- WordPress cookies keep the site working and, for our team, keep logins active.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can opt out of interest-based ads from many companies at optout.aboutads.info. Blocking cookies may break parts of the site.
Who we share it with
We share information with service providers who help us run the business. They may use it only to provide their service to us, except where noted below.
- Website hosting (Pressidium) stores the site and the form submissions it receives.
- ActiveCampaign sends our emails and stores our email list.
- Calendly handles scheduling for strategy calls.
- Google, Microsoft and Meta receive the usage data described in the section above.
- Stripe processes payments. See “Payments” below.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or safety or anyone else’s, or if the business is sold or merged.
Under some state laws, letting advertising tools like the Meta Pixel collect data can count as “sharing” or “selling” personal information for targeted ads. If you want to opt out, use the controls above or email us.
Payments
We don’t collect payments on nycfit.com. Purchases happen on buy.nycfit.com, where payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. Stripe’s use of your information is covered by the Stripe privacy policy.
How long we keep it
We keep applications and messages for as long as we need them to respond to you, deliver coaching and meet legal and accounting needs. We keep email subscribers on our list until you unsubscribe. Analytics and advertising providers keep data under their own retention settings. You can ask us to delete your information at any time (see below).
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to:
- Tell you what personal information we have about you, and give you a copy.
- Correct information that is wrong.
- Delete your information, except where we must keep it for legal, security or accounting reasons.
- Stop using your information for marketing or targeted advertising.
California and some other U.S. states give residents these rights by law, and visitors from the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom have similar rights, including the right to object to processing and to complain to their data protection authority. We won’t treat you differently for using any of these rights. To make a request, email us at support (at) nycfit.com. We may need to confirm it’s really you, and we’ll respond within the time the law requires.
To stop marketing emails at any time, use the unsubscribe link in any email we send.
Children
This site is for adults. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you think a child has given us information, email us and we’ll delete it.
Security and where your data goes
We use reasonable measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS). No website or service can promise perfect security. We are based in the United States, and the providers above may process your information in the United States and other countries.
Other websites
Our pages may link to or embed content from other sites, such as our free training at strongbodymethod.com, our checkout at buy.nycfit.com, and videos or articles from other companies. Those sites may collect information and set cookies under their own policies, which we don’t control.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top. If a change is significant, we’ll tell you by email or with a notice on the site.
